Born and raised in Iberville Parish, Robert M. Marionneaux, III is a Louisiana trial lawyer with a deep-rooted commitment to helping real people across the state. From an early age, Robert was immersed in both public service and the legal world—working at the Louisiana State Capitol for multiple State Senators while still in high school, and clerking for attorneys as soon as he got his driver’s license.
In 2015, Robert watched his father—one of Louisiana’s most respected trial lawyers—command a courtroom, and from that moment, he knew his calling. He earned his undergraduate degree from LSU in Interdisciplinary Studies, combining Political Science, Sociology, and Leadership Development. Afterward, he returned home to Grosse Tete and earned his J.D. from Southern University Law Center, where he was a member of the elite Trial Advocacy Board competition team.
Robert is now a proud member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the founder of Marionneaux Law Group, where he focuses exclusively on serious injury and wrongful death cases. His experience is anything but ordinary. He’s worked on multiple record-setting verdicts and settlements while still in law school—learning firsthand from some of the most accomplished trial lawyers in the state.
In 2020, Robert was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident that required eight procedures on his lumbar spine. That case ultimately went to a jury trial and taught him more than any textbook ever could. He’s lived through the pain, the process, and the fight for justice—so when he says he understands his clients, he means it.
